Characteristics of stainless steel bearings:

Bearing rings and rolling elements are made of AISI SUS440C stainless steel  after vacuum quenching and tempering, and cages and sealing rings are made of AISI304 stainless steel .

Compared with ordinary bearing steel, stainless steel bearings have stronger anti-rust and anti-corrosion properties, and can be used in the environment of -60°C~+300°C by selecting appropriate lubricants and dust covers.

Stainless steel deep groove ball bearings are resistant to corrosion caused by moisture and certain other media. These single row deep groove ball bearings have the same deep bearing raceway grooves as standard deep groove ball bearings made of carbon chromium (rolling bearing) steel, and the fit between the bearing raceway and the balls is extremely high.

Stainless steel bearings are widely used in food processing, medical equipment, and pharmaceutical machinery because of their high mechanical strength and large load capacity.

Advantages of stainless steel bearings:

1. Excellent corrosion resistance: stainless steel bearings are not easy to rust and have strong corrosion resistance.

2. Washable: Stainless steel bearings can be washed down without having to re-lubricate to prevent the penalty of rust.

3. Can run in liquid: Due to the materials used, we can run bearings and housings in liquid.

4. Slow depletion rate: AISI 316 stainless steel, no need for oil or grease anti-corrosion protection. Therefore, if the speed and load are low, no lubrication is required.

5. Sanitation: Stainless steel is naturally clean and does not corrode.

6. High heat resistance: Stainless steel bearings equipped with high temperature polymer cages or cages without a complete complement structure can operate at higher temperatures ranging from 180°F to 1000°F. (requires high temperature resistant grease)
